Introducing the GICA Mentor Program
GICA is grateful for the feedback provided by the members in improving value of GICA to our valued members. In response to the results from the Autumn 2023 Conference, GICA would like to enhance member experience by facilitating a mentoring program.
In addition to traditional mentor program objectives such as networking, leadership, personal, and professional development, the program would have particular focus on promoting collaboration and exchange of knowledge around industrial cooperation topics and ideas that develop the professional practice.
To accomplish this objective, as a first step, we would like to compile a list of volunteer mentors and those interested mentees.
Mentor Criteria
Must have at least 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience in Industrial Cooperation/Offsets or International Business, preferably in at least 3 countries.
Must be committed to the mentoring program for at least a 12 month period. The frequency and duration of each meeting may be mutually agreed by the mentor and mentee. Expect 6-12 hours total over the 12 month period.
