Biography

Ms Zukiswa Kimani holds a Master’s in Development Economics from the Australian National University. She is a Chief Director of Industrial Policy in the dtic with over 21 years of working experience. She has extensive experience in policy development, strategic planning, and economic analysis, particularly within the industrial policy and economic development sectors. She has successfully led and managed the development and implementation of key national industrial policies (IPAP), sector strategies in Oceans Economy subsectors ( Marine Manufacturing) and Aerospace and Defence, and master plans that drive economic growth, job creation, and sectoral development. She’s well-versed in managing cross-sector collaborations and driving strategic interventions to support growth in the manufacturing, marine, aerospace, and defence sectors. She serves on several boards and advisory committees, providing leadership and governance in both public and private sector settings.
