The Swiss Federal Council is working on the revision of its armaments policy strategy to reflect the new security environment in Europe. An important goal of the revised strategy is to strengthen domestic industrial capabilities and capacities in favor of the operational and sustainability capability of the Swiss Armed Forces. In this context, industrial cooperation will continue to play an important role and is expected to make a more significant contribution to national security. Switzerland will also work more closely with partner countries and organizations in the field of armaments and position Swiss industry as a reliable and technologically innovative partner. In his presentation, the Swiss Offset Manager will address the future changes in the armaments policy strategy and legal framework and discuss the further development of offset management in Switzerland.
