As Offset Manager for Rheinmetall Landsysteme (RLS), Matthias Schulz is responsible for the execution of RLS`s worldwide Offset commitments and programs. Matthias reports to Jozef van Gemert as Head of Corporate Industry Participation Management for Rheinmetall AG and to the Vice President Head of Strategic Purchasing Vehicle Systems Europe. Matthias joined Rheinmetall in January 2019 and is based in Kassel, Germany. From 2006 to 2018 Matthias has been part of the Moog GmbH Defence Europe team in Germany. He gained first experience in Project Controlling and continued in Project Management. After promotion to the Head of Project Management and Bid Management, he took the responsibility as well for the Offset commitments of the executed projects and bids. This has been his first experience with Offset and the Offset community with focus in Europe.
Matthias has a degree in Industrial Engineering (FH) of the EsslingenUniversity of Applied Sciences.
