Biography

Mark Lengton is the deputy Commissioner Military Production at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He is responsible for the NL Industrial Participation team and is strongly involved in drafting and executing defence industrial policy. Mark has over 12 years of experience in (defence) consulting, industrial policy and Industrial Participation. He worked both in the private and public sector. After graduating from his master’s degree in Economics at Tilburg University, Mark worked at PwC on topics in the field of innovation, high tech industries and defence, both for public and private clients. At the MEA, he holds a track record in Industrial Participation in all domains. At the policy level, he has been strongly involved in drafting the NL Defence Industry Policy and is currently focusing on innovation, upscaling and access to finance.
