Louise A. Johansson is a senior manager at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (Försvarets materielverk – FMV), responsible for the department Joint Resources and Command and Information Systems with the Commercial Affairs Division. The department, with ca 60 employees in various roles, provide support in areas such as for instance services and consultants, sensors, communications, counter drone system, satellite and GIS capabilities. She has more than 15 years of experience in the public sector and extensive experience in public defence procurement, strategic sourcing, communications and inter-agency coordination. Louise was responsible for the FMV provided support to the National Board of Health and Welfare During the COVID-19 pandemic and aided greatly in securing critical medical supplies and equipment. Previously Louise has experience from management consulting in finance, strategic sourcing of private label goods in the food industry and business administration in the FMCG industry. Louise is a strong advocate for values-based leadership and the role of public procurement in strengthening national resilience. Louise resides in Stockholm, Sweden.
