Financing Defence Cooperation: Grants, Loans and Emerging EU Instruments
This presentation will explore how large-scale multinational defence cooperation projects can be effectively financed. It will address key questions such as:
• How can high-value joint defence projects be financed across multiple stakeholders?
• What national, regional, and international funding sources can be combined to support such initiatives?
• Which financial actors play a role in industrial defence cooperation? (e.g. state-owned banks, private capital, guarantee mechanisms)
Benedek joined N7 Holding Ltd., a Hungarian state-owned defense holding as CFO as of last September.
Prior to that he worked for and led different advisory and investment management companies, domestically and internationally. He has also worked for the Hungarian Development Bank.
Benedek has over 30 years of experience in structuring and executing both equity and debt financing deals.
