The vast obligation that started with a major concern turned over the years to a competitive advantage while Elbit has established more and more production facilities in country, transferred technologies and engaged high skilled professionals for the new generation development. Biography

Adrian Zanescu is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Subcontracting and Industrial Collaboration at Elbit Systems, overseeing global operations from the corporate headquarters. With over 35 years of experience, Adrian has led transformative initiatives in global supply chain management, procurement, business development, Foreign Military Financing (FMF), and industrial collaboration/offset programs across more than 20 countries. He holds a Master of Science in Management from New York Polytechnic University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Logistics from Israel’s Open University. His academic foundation, coupled with extensive professional training, has established him as an expert in large-scale procurement, international negotiations, and industrial cooperation frameworks. In his current role, Adrian is responsible for orchestrating the strategy, methodology, and operational processes related to strategic subcontracting and industrial collaboration at the corporate level. His leadership has been central to the execution of complex, multi-million dollar programs and the development of strategic partnerships with governments and defense customers worldwide. Adrian has played a pioneering role in establishing key Elbit subsidiaries around the globe, including the FMF facility in Fort Worth, Texas, and the first production sites in Romania. Romania was also the starting point of his offset and industrial collaboration journey in the late 1990s. His successful track record includes execution of multi-billion-dollar projects, shaping the company’s international footprint. He serves as a board member of Elbit Systems Netherlands, Elbit Systems Switzerland, and Elbit Systems Emirates, contributing to the company’s strategic direction in business development, procurement, and collaboration initiatives.
