GICA invites individuals from member companies to apply or nominate colleagues for committee positions. We’re looking for dedicated volunteers ready to engage in bi-weekly calls and contribute to ongoing committee activities through occasional emails.

Conference Planning Committee

Help shape GICA conferences! Join this committee to provide feedback on logistics and recruit speakers to elevate our event content. Volunteers can participate on a per-conference basis for our two annual events.

Goal Group 1

Membership Experience & Year-Round Value
The Membership Experience & Year-Round Value Goal Group is focused on generating benefits and engagement opportunities for the GICA membership and wider network. Our goal is to enhance and innovate the GICA experience with stakeholders to retain and expand membership.

Our Mission: To deliver an exceptional membership experience that ensures GICA’s stakeholders are inspired to continue to engage with the Association, receive the value from the organization, and can actively contribute and participate in the organization at their desired level.

What We Do:
• Global Connections & Member Retention: We prioritize the recruitment and retention of members, creating a dynamic network that spans across industries and regions.
• Enhanced Member Resources: Our initiatives include onboarding support, an active event calendar, topic-specific webinars, and mentoring frameworks to ensure that members continuously benefit from GICA’s offerings.

Events & Marketing Communication
The Events & MarCom Goal Group is dedicated to enhancing the value and visibility of GICA. Our mission is to deliver opportunities that benefit our members and stakeholders while raising global awareness of our organization.

Our Mission: To deliver impactful events and effective communication strategies that provide value to our members and elevate GICA’s presence in the industry.

What We Do:
• Year-Round Value Creation: We focus on developing meaningful engagement throughout the year, including a rolling schedule of our flagship conferences.
• Effective Marketing Strategies: We develop and implement marketing campaigns that promote our events and raise awareness of GICA’s mission and initiatives.
• Robust Communications: We manage GICA’s digital presence through social media, newsletters, and email marketing, ensuring our message reaches a broad audience.

Training & Skills Development
The Training & Skills Development Goal Group is committed to equipping the GICA community with the essential skills and knowledge for mutual and enduring success. We provide skills development and training resources that foster continuous professional growth.

Our Mission: To make high-quality, relevant training and skills development resources available to Members and Stakeholders, enabling them to create meaningful relationships and solutions to contribute meaningfully to the industry.

What We Do:
• Current & Engaging Conference Training: We ensure our conference training sessions are relevant, impactful, and tailored to industry needs, providing members with valuable learning opportunities.
• Expanded Learning Opportunities: We explore both in-person and virtual training formats to deliver accessible, effective skill-building experiences.
